Every character has its own temperament, its own wants, and its own opinion about what you're up to.
Open windows, the app you're in, what's playing. They see it (only what you allow) and say something in their own voice.
How long you've known each other, how you treat them, what they learned about you. Days later, it still counts.
Sleep, sulk, dance, hide for a while if you throw them around. Place them gently and they notice that too.
With more than one on screen, they gossip about what you're doing and about each other.
Each one chooses where it likes to stand and goes back there. Leave for a while and you may find a note.

How it works
Three steps, five minutes.
Windows installer. A short setup asks what the characters may see and which language they speak.
Sign in with your Claude subscription or paste an Anthropic API key. Your key stays on your machine.
Three characters come in the box. Keep them, or describe your own and watch them appear.

What they see, and what they don't
Characters that watch your screen only work if you can trust them. So the rules are explicit.
- Nothing is sent anywhere until you approve it on first launch.
- You choose which apps and windows are off limits. Excluded windows are never captured.
- Screen glances go straight to Claude with your own credentials. There is no SoulCall server in between.
- Memories live in a local file on your PC. Delete it and they forget.
- A health page shows what was looked at and how much it cost.
- Turn watching off any time. They'll still wander around and talk, just with less to say.

Questions
Is it a chatbot?
No. You can type to them, but the point is that they act on their own: they look, comment, move, sleep, and come back. Most of the time you're not talking to them at all.
Does it slow down my PC?
The characters are a small transparent window. The thinking happens on Claude's side, in short bursts spaced out over time.
Can I make a character of a real person?
You can describe anyone you like; the box only ships original characters. What you create stays on your machine.
Why "SoulCall"?
You call a character into being with a sentence. Also, it's a pun on the maker's surname. Say it fast.
